- Why closed on Sunday?
- We have closed on Sundays since June 2024 so our family and crew get a day to rest. Saturday is our longest day, so for a weekend wash come Saturday until 7pm.
- Holidays?
- We close on major holidays, including Memorial Day, the Fourth of July, and Christmas Day. We may also close early the day before a holiday.
- Weather?
- In winter, extreme cold can shut us down for the day to protect our customers, equipment, and team. Every closure is posted at the top of this site and on our Facebook page, so check before you come.

Do people drive in from outside Effingham?
Every day. Southtown is the car wash for a lot of people in Teutopolis, Neoga, Altamont, and Newton, and for folks who work in Effingham and live out in the county.
